One word. MAGICAL.
I was lucky enough to spend Easter this year being the ultimate child in one of the most magical places on earth DISNEYLAND PARIS.
As this was my first ever time going it goes without saying that I was just a tad excited. It has been on my bucket list for as long as I can remember so having the opportunity to visit was a really amazing experience.
I went on the trip with my Boyfriend and his family who are without a doubt Disneyland pros. Between Paris and Florida they have been there an impressive total of ten (may be more) times and counting, so they know all the tricks of the trade when it comes to Disney.
One tip I can share from the trip is to pre-book lunch in Mickeys Café before your arrival. This is especially good for kids as all the characters are there and come around to each table during lunch for photos and mischief. The queues can be quite long in the park for photos with the Characters so booking this lunch will save you a long wait. That’s not the only the reason to book of course, the lunch itself couldn’t be more Disney when your dining with the characters themselves!
From my experience I can say that in my opinion Disney is not just for kids. There are so many rides and attractions that appeal for an older audience.
The Walt Disney Studios Park is movie themed and is based around show business, production and behind-the-scenes action. This park really appeals to boys as some view the Disney Park as being a bit too girly.
However what I loved the most was the physical set up of the park. The level of detail that is put into everything from a sweet shop to the roller coasters was incredible. The thing that makes Disney so special is that from the moment you arrive here you are mesmerised by a completely different world, away from reality. We stayed in Disney’s Cheyenne Hotel. This was a western themed hotel and was without doubt one of the coolest places I’ve stayed. The hotel was transformed into a complete wild west frontier town, deadly!
Disneyland is Instagram heaven with photos opportunities screaming out at every corner. So yes, I did take full advantage of that opportunity and took far too many pictures!
Rather than rambling on (and I could go on!) about my Disneyland experience I’m going to let the pictures do the talking. Have a look at my little visual diary of the trip below. Hope you enjoy!
